Feminism and Love as Resistance in Zataar Diva

In one of the poems she creates such a wonderful piece about love, making love, giving love, having children, motherly protection. All of these are motherly qualities. It was crazy powerful when the child is shot in the head by the Israeli and that "feminism" switched to love as resistance. Even after the tragic loss of her child, she continues on the describe that love for her children and making love, which of course makes children. They took her child away but she won't stop loving, physically. The act of making love then seems to represent her own personal revolt and her love as resistance to the brutality of the Israeli. This struck me the most because I couldn't imagine losing a child and the thought of making another. But she continues on a strong woman, a strong mother. No body could stop her, not even a man with a freaking weapon. The strength in it is incredible.
