Making Race Mix

Lately thinking about mixed race reminds me of the race mixing of my parents
which reminds me of when i was a kid and I
took two insects or bugs and
shoved them like they were my parents into a sealed marriage jar and
shook it
and they had fun at first / bumping bouncing around /
but then things fell
from good
to worse
and they started feeling sick
then agitated
then angry
then fights filled the jar even though i stopped shaking it
it still shook
then things would calm down for little while
until a tiny tap tiped them to fightmaking and jar shaking all over again

(But unlike realife they didn't actually each other after the fight was over)

My distorted perspective about race mixing is that it can be problematic, but when i really think about it i know that it really just comes down to the people and how they deal with difference. And it comes down to culture and culture deals with difference. And this all relates to how the mixed race individual integrates into society. Luckily in these more modern days in California society mixing races in completely fine. This growing acceptance is acting to rapidly increase the number of mixed race individuals, which will speed the coming of the day when we all look more or less the same.
